The excitement of Big Monday gets underway at 7PM Eastern Time as the Syracuse Orange will hit the road after their monster game with Duke and face the Maryland Terrapins. The teams will play at Maryland and ESPN TV will provide the coast to coast broadcast. This will be the first meeting between these schools since way back in 2008. The Orange better be careful here. Even with their loss to Boston College last week the team still is penciled for a number one seed. The team can ill afford anymore slipups if they want to grab a top seed in the NCAA Tournament. Maryland is 10-3 straight up on their home court and at 15-12 season to date the team will most likely need to win out and go deep in the ACC Tournament for an at large bid. The Terrapins will need to better than average here as they hit just 43.9% from the field season to date.

Over on ESPNU TV at 7PM Eastern Time the Big 12 conference will take center stage when the Oklahoma St Cowboys hit the road to battle the TCU Horned Frogs. Oklahoma St has hit a freefall as the team had dropped seven straight games prior to their game on Saturday against Texas Tech. Oklahoma St is another team that must win out and go deep in their conference tournament for any chance of an at large bid. It’s another down season for TCU as the team was 9-16 overall as they play host to Iowa St on Saturday.

The Big 12 conference has a good one scheduled for Big Monday when the Oklahoma Sooners hit the road to battle the Kansas Jayhawks. The Sooners and Jayhawks tip off from Kansas at 9PM Eastern Time and ESN TV will provide the broadcast. Oklahoma is looking for revenge after losing the first meeting 90-83 at home getting +6 points on January 8th.

LA Clippers versus Memphis Grizzlies NBA Pro Basketball Betting Preview

Friday, February 21st, 2014

An attractive matchup from the NBA scheduled on Friday night February 21st will feature the LA Clippers hitting the highway to face the Memphis Grizzlies. The Clips and Grizzlies will get things started from Memphis at 8PM Eastern Time and you can watch the action over the NBA League Pass channel.

Bet NBA pro basketball at Oddsmaker sportsbook, where bettors can now Claim their Free 100% Bonus up to $1000. Sign up today and get into the excitement of watching and wagering on NBA pro basketball and build up those bankrolls for the start of the playoffs now just under two months away!

The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team LA Clippers favored by -2 points with a total lined at 195 ½ points. Those betting the Clippers on the money line will lay -135 odds with the return on the Memphis Grizzlies at +115 odds on the money line.

With the NBA playoffs approaching we take a look at the standings and find the LA Clippers sitting tied with the Portland Trailblazers for the fourth seed in the Western conference and just ½ game behind the Houston Rockets for the third seed. Memphis has been hit with injuries for much of this season and if the season ended tonight the club would sit out of the playoffs. Memphis occupies the ninth seed in the competitive Western conference sitting a game behind the Dallas Mavericks for the final seed. The Clippers and Grizzlies have a lot of history with one another. The teams have met in a playoff series in each of the past two seasons with each team winning one of the series each. The Clippers have gotten Chris Paul back in the lineup and the Grizzlies guard Mike Conley is back. This is an interesting game as we find teams with two conflicting styles. Memphis still emphasizes defense as they play slow with big men Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol fighting for position down low for good looks at the basket in close range. The Clippers want to run because head coach Doc Rivers feels it would allow the team to make the most of the talents of Blake Griffin on the court. We will see how that style fits with Chris Paul because he likes a more deliberate pace on the court and is not a big fan of playing fast.
