The Rockets are 49-23 and with ten games remaining the club has to be disappointed sitting in the fourth seed in the Western conference as expectation were greater for this team as they trail the top seeded San Antonio Spurs by 7 ½ games in the standings.
In the late night game it will be the Portland Trailblazers playing for playoff positioning as they face the LA Lakers. Things get started from Staples Center in Los Angeles at 10:30PM Eastern Time and TNT will provide the coast to coast broadcast. The Portland Trailblazers got off to a hot start and have cooled off in recent weeks. The team sits in the fifth seed in the west but is now lock for the playoffs as the ninth seeded Dallas Mavericks trails by three games. LA Lakers despite playoff eliminated has shown no signs of quit on the court.
