In Game 5 it was the Bucks posting the 94-88 win on the Bulls home court. Chicago has a poor shooting game in the loss as they shot just 34% and 18% from three. The Bulls guard combination of Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose were ice cold from the floor. Butler was 5 of 21 and Rose goes 5 of 20 from the field. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business have the home side Atlanta Hawks the -9 point wagering favorite with a total lined at 200 points. Game 4 went into overtime as Brooklyn prevailed 120-115 as a +5 ½ point underdog. Nets much maligned point guard Deron Williams had a monster Game 4 with 35 points and seven assists in the win. The issue with Williams has been consistency throughout his NBA career. Recently former teammate Paul Pierce took a jab at Williams about his lack of professionalism by failing to deliver his best in games. Williams had two points in Game 2 and three points in Game 3. Kyle Korver has gone cold in the playoffs as the shooting guard is hitting just 40% in the playoffs.

It will be Game 5 as the Memphis Grizzlies will go for the series closeout as they host the Portland Trailblazers at 9:30PM Eastern Time on TNT TV. Memphis is favored by -5 points with an over under line set at 190 ½ points. In the first three games of this series Trailblazers guard Damian Lillard has struggled. The big concern is for Portland forward LaMarcus Aldridge who is shooting a mediocre 34% from the field in this series. Aldridge was 6 of 22 from the field in Game 4 and went 6 of 18 from the floor in Game 3.

The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Houston Rockets the -6 ½ point favorite with the total lined at 222 points. The Dallas Mavericks were facing elimination in this series as they were down 3-0 as they took the court on Sunday for Game 4. The Mavericks came in with a spirted performance in their 121-109 victory to send the series back to Houston. After falling behind by 12 points early in the game, the Mavericks responded by outscoring the Rockets 69-41 in the second and third quarters combined to take control of the game. The Mavericks have struggled mightily on the defensive end of the court this year. It appears the Houston Rockets was a nightmare matchup for Dallas because the Mavericks defend the three poorly and the Rockets launch a lot of three point shots. Three point defending and keeping Houston away from the free throw line are keys here.

The Clippers shot 53% for the game and got 19 rebounds from Blake Griffin and another 14 came from DeAndre Jordan.

The Mavericks are one game away from being eliminated from the first round of the postseason. Dallas was a bad defensive team this year that cannot guard the three point line. Dallas is allowing about 120 points per game in the first three games of this series.

The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business have the road side Houston Rockets the -1 point betting favorite with the total lined at 214 ½ points. The Houston Rockets are up 2-0 in this series as they have been able to pull away from the Mavericks with strong fourth quarter performances. Dallas is a very poor perimeter defensive team and this matchup with the Rockets was the worst possible of the seven other playoff teams possibly matched up with the Mavericks. Dallas is 27th and fourth last in the NBA in three point defending by allowing 36.4% from three on the year.

At 8PM Eastern Time on ESPN2 it’s the Washington Wizards at home facing the Toronto Raptors. Washington is favored by -3 ½ points with an over under line set at 195 ½ points. The Toronto Raptors are up against it. They opened the playoffs with two home games and lost every one of them to the Washington Wizards. There were a lot of critics over Wizards head coach Randy Whitman’s handling of the team during the regular season. Record wise they have underperformed but when you look at minute distribution you see that minutes were limited to starters and spread well onto their bench. Now the minutes are added to the starting lineup for the postseason and the team has been extremely productive thus far in the post season.

The late night game will air on ESPN at 9:30PM Eastern Time as the San Antonio Spurs will host the LA Clippers. The San Antonio Spurs are favored by -4 points with an over under line set at 204 ½ points. The series is tied at 1-1 after the Spurs win in overtime at LA on Wednesday. Tim Duncan in 44 minutes of play for a 38 year old body had 28 points and grabbed 11 boards in the win. He will turn 39 on Saturday.
