The action begins at 1PM Eastern Time as most of the country will receive an AL East matchup as the New York Yankees are home to the Baltimore Orioles. The pitching matchup features right hander Ubaldo Jimenez on the hill for the Orioles to face Yankees right hander Masahiro Tanaka. The Orioles have lost three straight decisions in Jimenez’ past three starts for the team while the Yankees are 3-0 in Tanaka’s past three starts with New York. The Yankees have won the first two games of this series after their 4-3 home victory on Wednesday night.

Others will receive the Detroit Tigers hosting the Seattle Mariners at 1PM Eastern Time over MLB Network. The Tigers will throw lefty David Price to face Mariners right hander Hisashi Iwakuma. Price has been outstanding of late by holding his past three opponents to a total of two earned runs total over 22 innings. Iwakuma has won two straight decisions as the right hander has allowed two earned runs total tossing 13 2/3rd innings.

In prime time at 7PM Eastern Time over MLB Network most will receive the New York Mets at home hosting the LA Dodgers. The left hander Clayton Kershaw throws for LA to battle New York right hander Bartolo Colon. The Dodgers salvaged the final game of their three game series with Atlanta on Wednesday by posting a 3-1 victory. Kershaw has regained his Cy Young form of late by limiting his past four opponents to two earned runs total posting 31 innings of work. Colon looks to bounce back from a terrible start on July 18th as he surrendered seven earned runs in 4 1/3rd innings in a 12-2 road defeat at St Louis.

Other areas will receive the NL contender’s meetup between the Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals. The Nationals will start right hander Doug Fister on Thursday to meet Pirates lefty Francisco Liriano. The Pittsburgh starter has limited his past four opponents to two earned runs or less. Fister looks to bounce back from defeat on July 18th as he allowed four earned runs in five innings of work at home to the LA Dodgers.

From Atlanta Georgia at 6PM Eastern Time it will be Team USA facing Jamaica with television by FOX Sports 1. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has USA the -268 wagering favorite on the three way line with Jamaica returning +595 odds. The regulation tie will return +320 odds. The goal over under line is set at 2 goals with over favored by -145 odds with under 2 goals bringing back +125 odds. USA has shown very little firepower with few goals during their three games Group Stage. They faced Cuba in a quarterfinal match and came away with the 6-0 victory. Clint Dempsey had a hat trick in the victory. Five Cuban players were absent and it is feared these players have defected. The 90 degree heat did not seem to have an impact on the USA club. Fortunately this game will be played in a dome that is air conditioned. Jamaica struggled through a 1-0 victory in their quarterfinal meeting with Haiti on Saturday. A goal by Giles Barnes in the seventh minute held up.

In semifinal action from Atlanta Georgia starting at 9PM Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1 TV it will be Mexico facing Jamaica. Mexico is the -170 wagering favorite on the three way line with Panama returning +412 odds. The regulation tie returns +250 odds. The goal total came in at two goals with over favored at -120 odds with under the total of two goals returning +100 odds. Mexico needed 120 minutes in their 1-0 victory against Costa Rica. A questionable penalty by Costa Rica in their defensive box at the 120th minute mark was costly as Mexico’s Andres Guardado was able to convert with the game winning goal. Panama was able to defeat Trinidad & Tobago in the penalty shot phase as 120 minutes could not decide the winner in a 1-1 tie. This is a rematch of the 2013 semifinal round where Panama was able to defeat Mexico.

In four starts in 2015 Nova has allowed nine earned runs in 23 1/3rd innings.

Most of the nation will receive at 7PM Eastern Time an AL East showdown as the New York Yankees are home to the Baltimore Orioles. They will play at Yankees Stadium and MLB Network has the broadcast. The Orioles will start left hander Wei Yin Chen to oppose Yankees right hander Nathan Eovaldi. The New York 25 year old starter has been an erratic pitcher for much of his career with lack of movement in the strike zone. The Yankees are very careful with him and he has not pitched beyond the sixth inning in six straight games. On the year Eovaldi is 9-2 with an ERA of 4.50. Chen has pitched extremely well for the Orioles. He goes deep in games and has held his past seven opponents to two runs or fewer.

Right hander Jason Hammel hits the mound for the Cubs as he opposes Red right hander Raisel Iglesias. The Cubs have dominated the Reds this season winning seven of their nine meetings. Hammel returns to the mound after leaving after one inning in July 8th at home to St Louis with a hamstring issue.

The late night game goes off at 10PM Eastern Time on MLB Extra Innings channel as the LA Angels are home to the Minnesota Twins. The Angels will go with right hander Matt Shoemaker on Tuesday night in the series opener to meet Twins right hander Kyle Gibson. The Angels bullpen could be taxed as they were forced to play a day/night doubleheader to the Boston Red Sox on Monday. Minnesota is very much in the AL Wildcard race with a 50-42 record. They hold a 3 ½ game lead over Baltimore for the final playoff spot.
