The action gets underway at 8PM Eastern Time from East Rutherford New Jersey as Colombia will battle Peru televised by FOX Sports 1.

The current three way odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has Colombia favored by -1/2 goal with backers of Peru receiving +1/2 goal. The goal total is lined at 2 goals.

Colombia was 2-0 after their first two matches and looked like the Group A winner. They opened play with a 2-0 victory over the United States then defeated Paraguay 2-1. With a win or draw against Costa Rica the Colombians would be Group A winners. Instead the team dropped a 3-2 decision to finish as the second place team. They now draw a tougher opponent in Peru in the quarterfinal round.

Peru were winners of Group B. The team began the tournament with a 1-0 victory against Haiti. They then tied Ecuador 2-2 and had four points entering their final match against Brazil. The Peruvians defeated Brazil 1-0 to win the group and knock the Brazilians out of the Copa America.

The Colombians are ranked fourth in the World by FIFA. They have dropped three straight games to Peru in the Copa America. They are looking for a strong game by 24 year old James Rodriguez who has two goals and an assist thus far in the tournament. Goalie Davide Ospina has surrendered just one goal in the tournament. Ospina sat out the loss to Costa Rica.

Peru is ranked 46th in the world by FIFA. Paolo Guerrero has a goal and an assist for the team in Copa America. They were the third place team in 2011 and last year. The referees on the field for this game will all reside from Brazil. The winner of this quarterfinal game will face the winner of Mexico and Chile in a semifinal game taken place on Wednesday June 22nd from Chicago.
