The Indians began their playoff run in the ALDS by sweeping the Boston Red Sox in three games as they held the Red Sox to a total of seven runs combined in those contests. Next up were a good hitting Toronto Blue Jays where the Indians jumped out to a 3-0 series lead as they limited the Blue Jays to three runs combined. Game 4 resulted in a Toronto 5-1 home victory. Cleveland then won the ALCS in Game 5 as they shutout the Blue Jays 3-0.

Then on a short week the Broncos traveled to San Diego on a Thursday night and came away with the 21-13 defeat at the Chargers. In their losses the team scored their lowest point total of the year. Denver has the fourth ranked defense in the NFL as they surrender 295 yards per game. Offensively they sit in the lower third of the league in both passing and running the football. Trevor Siemian is completing nearly 65% of his passes with seven touchdowns and three picks. Siemian has not thrown an interception in his past three games.

Alabama comes off a dominating performance as they win at Tennessee 49-10 as a 14 point favorite in a back to back road spot.
