Khris Middleton had an off game for Milwaukee with only 6 points hitting on 2 of 9 shots.

In the playoffs Kawhi Leonard is averaging 31.4 points per game which is a career playoff high. He is hitting on 51.2% from the field and making 41.1% of his three point shots. In the postseason Giannis is averaging 25.9 points per game and hitting on 50.2% from the field. That is lower than his past two previous playoff years.

Starting for Arizona will be lefty Robbie Ray as he will face Giants lefty Drew Pomeranz. Arizona opens this series with a 25-25 record after getting swept in a three game series at the San Diego Padres. Diamondbacks have now lost five straight games by struggling for run production. Ray has pitched well for Arizona with a 3-1 record in ten starts with ERA of 3.25. Pomeranz after getting pounded at Cincinnati two starts back for seven runs in 1 1/3rd innings held the Diamondbacks to two runs and two hits over 4 2/3rd innings. Issue is that Pomeranz issued five walks. Giants have a losing record at home and have struggled hitting the baseball with a .219 batting average.
