ABC and ESPN TV NBA Christmas Day Match Up Previews for Tuesday

At 12PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV it will be the Boston Celtics travelling to face the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn breaks a three game losing streak on Sunday as they defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 95-92 as a -6 point favorite. The Celtics last played on December 21st in a 99-94 home overtime loss to Milwaukee.

On ABC TV at 3PM Eastern Time Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks will travel cross country to face Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers. After a strong start on both sides of the court the Knicks have struggled lately to play defense. The Lakers welcomed back Steve Nash to the lineup in a 118-115 road overtime win at the Golden St Warriors on Saturday night.

A rematch of the 2012 NBA Finals series takes place at 5:30PM Eastern Time on ABC TV as Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder will pay a visit as the road team to tackle Lebron James and the Miami Heat. In the NBA Finals last season the Thunder win game one at home but Miami then goes on to win the next four games to win the NBA title.

Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets hit the road to face the Chicago Bulls with a tip time of 8PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV. The first meeting this season resulted in a close Houston 93-89 home win as a -1 point favorite on November 21st. James Harden had a good night for the Rockets with 28 points. The Bulls struggled that night from beyond the arc making just 2 of 16 threes.

Game five of this Christmas Day hoops extravaganza concludes on ESPN TV at 10:30PM Eastern Time as the Denver Nuggets are the road team as they take on Chris Paul and the LA Clippers from Staples Center in Los Angeles. Game 29 of the season for Denver and they will be playing their 20th road game. Denver is 7-12 on the road. The Clippers are hot winners of 12 straight as they travel to Phoenix on Sunday night.
