At 3:30PM Eastern Time on ABC Television it will be Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls traveling to play the Boston Celtics. Boston will look for home court revenge as the Bulls traveled on January 13th and defeated the Celtics by an 88-79 score as a -1 point road favorite. Chicago crushed Boston on the glass that night by 13 rebounds. Kevin Garnett needs help around the basket as the Celtics has digressed depth wise in the forward and center position since their World Title. Derrick Rose had 25 points and dished out seven assists in the win. Paul Pierce will look for a better game this time as he had a poor shooting night in defeat by hitting on just 3 of his 12 shots.

The middle game of the tripleheader will tip off at 7PM Eastern Time and it will be Lebron James and his Miami Heat traveling to face the Atlanta Hawks over ESPN Television. The Hawks have really struggled with the loss of Al Horford. Atlanta has not defended very well since the absence of their big man so it may be easy pickings for Lebron James and Dwyane Wade on the drive to the hole for easy buckets. Chris Bosh could also come up with big numbers against the Hawks weaknesses in the paint. Atlanta is a gutless team when facing large deficits and has a lot of give up in their game.

The nightcap on Sunday will tip off on ESPN TV at 9:30PM Eastern Time as the Utah Jazz travels to face the Memphis Grizzlies. Utah has not been good on the road this season as the team sits at 2-7 on the highway this year. The Jazz has difficulty overcoming large margins with a poor 29.2% shooting percentage from the three point line ranking 29th in all of the NBA. Heading into Friday’s game the Grizzlies are 8-4 at home this season. The team is playing their fourth game of their current five games at home. They have the benefit of one day of rest between each of their past three games and faced no travel. Memphis will bring strong energy here.
