The Diamondbacks will send right hander Daniel Hudson to the mound in the series finale to face righty Scott Feldman for the Rangers. Hudson in six starts on the year has a record of 2-1 with an ERA of 6.06 and WHIP of 1.53. He is coming off a poor outing back on Friday where he allowed six earned runs and eight hits in just 1 2/3rd innings in a 9-8 win against Oakland. The 2012 season has not been too kind to Scott Feldman this season. Feldman is 0-5 in six starts with an ERA of 6.39 and WHIP of 1.52. After a poor outing at Oakland where the Rangers right hander allowed eight earned runs in 1 2/3rd innings Feldman faced San Francisco on Saturday and allowed just two earned runs and four hits in 5 1/3rd innings.

The Rangers have taken the first two game of this series and their pitching staff has shut down the Diamondbacks offense by allowing them just one run total in the two games. After winning five straight and seven of their past eight games the Diamondbacks has hit a bump in the road with losses in two straight. After a bad stretch last week the Rangers seemed to have righted the ship as they win their second straight series with two wins against the Diamondbacks and winning two of three this past weekend at San Francisco. Texas pitching was solid in their series win against the Giants with both wins coming by way of a shutout.
