RedBlacks could not sustain drives with only 14 first downs in the game.

At 7PM Eastern Time on ESPN2 TV the Hamilton Tiger Cats play host to the Calgary Stampeders. After a Week 1 loss at home to Ottawa the Stampeders have won two straight with their 37-10 road win at Saskatchewan. Calgary built on a 15-3 road halftime lead. Stampeders had a +3 turnover margin and completed 20 of 23 passes for 273 yards behind a strong game by quarterback Arbuckle. Tiger Cats are 3-1 and have not had a bye week yet. In the semifinals the Mexicans faced an improved Haiti team and win 1-0 in additional extra time. Raul Jimenez scored on a disputed Penalty Kick for the win. Many have been critical of Mexico only scoring one goal total in regulation time in their two knockout games. Mexico and USA met once last year in a friendly played in Nashville Tennessee with the US winning 1-0 with a goal by Tyler Adams in the 71st minute.

Stampeders are the defending CFL Champions as they posted a 27-16 win in the Grey Cup last November against Ottawa. RedBlacks were 11-7 last regular season and face a season of changes losing their starting quarterback, receiver and key offensive lineman to free agency to Edmonton. Returning under center for Calgary is starting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell who comes off a year that ended being crowned as the MVP for the 2018 Grey Cup. Mitchell is the highest paid player in the league.

Centermen Patrice Bergeron has 17 points in the playoffs, Charlie Coyle 16 points and David Krejci with 15 points. St Louis was one of the worst teams in the Western conference in mid-December. They turned to rookie Jordan Binnington to help the Blues quality for the postseason then win their way into the Stanley Cup Finals. In the playoffs, Binnington is 15-10 with a goal against average of 2.52. St Louis has responded with wins after every loss in these playoffs. Blues have won in Boston twice in these Finals.
