On ABC TV at 8:30PM Eastern Time the Philadelphia 76ers host the LA Lakers. LA has a record of 36-9 and 20-4 on the highway. LA has won three of their four on this five game road trip following their 128-113 win at Brooklyn on Thursday. Lakers were playing a back to back and third game in four nights. Lakers shot 52% in the win and pulled down 11 greater rebounds than the Nets. Both Lebron James and Anthony Davis are expected to play. Philadelphia checks in at 29-17 on the campaign and a good home record of 20-2 straight up. Their four game win streak was snapped in a 107-95 road defeat on Wednesday to the Toronto Raptors. 76ers were pounded on the glass pulling down eight fewer rebounds than the Raptors. Philadelphia will continue to be without Joel Embiid who is sidelined with a hand injury. Embiid is expected to return to the 76ers lineup early in February.

The late night game begins at 10:30PM Eastern Time on NBA TV as the Golden St Warriors are home to the Indiana Pacers. Golden St going through a poor season at 10-38 this season. Team is 7-16 at home. Golden St has lost nine of their past ten after a 129-96 home defeat on Wednesday to the Utah Jazz. Kevon Looney has been listed as questionable with an ab injury for the Warriors. Golden St sits 30th and last in the NBA in field goal shooting as the team is hitting only 42.8% from the floor. Indiana checks in with a mark of 29-16. Pacers are 12-11 on the road.  Brogdon has been listed as questionable with a head injury. Indiana has won six of their past seven after a 112-87 road win at the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. Pacers had a great shooting performance in the win as they converted on 54% with 9 of 20 from the three point line. TJ Warren had a good performance with 25 points hitting on 11 of 18 from the field.

Portland broke their two game losing streak with a 129-124 home overtime win to Golden St on Monday. Portland has dealt with injuries to key contributors as Jusuf Nurkic, Rodney Hood and Zach Collins sidelined with injuries. Now guard CJ McCollum is questionable with an ankle injury. Dallas sits at 27-16 overall and are 13-11 on their home court. Their four game win streak was stopped on Tuesday in a 110-107 home loss to the LA Clippers. Mavs pulled down eight fewer boards in defeat. Dallas had a poor night from three in the loss connecting on only 12 of 32 shots. Luca Doncic led the team with 36 points and ten rebounds on 12 of 26 shots but a poor 3 of 12 from three. Dallas saw the return of Kristaps Porzingis but was rusty hitting on 4 of 17 shots and 1 of 8 from the three point line.

This will mark the NBA regular season debut of rookie Zion Williamson who has been sidelined following knee surgery as the first round pick of the draft got injured during the preseason. Pelicans have won five of their past seven games after their 126-116 road win at Memphis on Monday. New Orleans shot 48% in the win and were hot from three connecting on 21 of 48. Jrue Holiday led the team with 36 points and six rebounds hitting on 12 of 18 shots. San Antonio is 19-23 on the season with 7-13 on the road. San Antonio extends their win streak to two games with the 120-118 road win at Phoenix. Spurs had a good shooting night in the win connecting on 49%. They did defend poorly allowing 53% shooting and pulled down 12 fewer rebounds than the Suns. San Antonio won this game from the three point line by converting 17 of 31.

Dallas checks with a mark of 27-18 and 13-10 on the home court. They are the third highest scoring team in the league at 116.7 points per game. Kristaps Porzingis has been dealing with a knee injury that has forced him to miss recent games has been listed as probable for Tuesday. Dallas has won four straight after their 120-112 home win to Portland on Friday. Despite the win the Mavs have now allowed over 50% shooting in back to back games. In the win against the Trailblazers the Mavericks were hot from three connecting on 20 of 47. Luca Doncic led the team with 35 points and eight rebounds hitting on 11 of 23 shot but 8 of 12 from three. Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in with 29 points as he converted on 5 of 8 from three. Bruins season has been a disappointment. They fell to 1-3 in the PAC 12 after a 74-59 home defeat on Wednesday to Stanford. It has been back to back home losses by double digits to conference opponents as the Bruins fell 74-63 a week ago to USC. In those back to back losses the UCLA Bruins shot poorly combining for 38.7%. Cal checks in at 8-9 overall and sit 0-5 on the highway. They are 2-2 in the PAC 12 after an 88-56 road defeat on Thursday to the USC Trojans. Golden Bears surrendered 50% shooting to the Trojans and were crushed on the glass by a 43-26 rebounding margin. In their other road game in the conference the California Golden Bears were blown out at Stanford 68-52. Their two victories in the PAC 12 came at home to Washington St and Washington.

Rockets have lost two straight following a 117-107 home defeat to Portland on Thursday. Rockets were playing on a back to back after losing at Memphis by 11 the night before. This will be the first meeting of the season between these two playoff contenders.
