The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has NBA season suspended for more than 30 days (from March 13 2020) favored at -500 odds with the no returning +350 odds. Also available to wager on is if the 2019-20 NBA season to be cancelled outright. No is favored by -240 odds with the return on Yes at +180 odds.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver recently spoke to TNT television to update fans on his decision to suspend operations. Public health was the main reason, but Silver said the league will be gathering information and figuring out ways the NBA can conduct play under the current situation. Horse racing continues without fans throughout the United States. WWE recently televised their Smackdown Show from their training facility with no fans in attendance that was well-received by their viewers. A positive this week that professional leagues could learn from moving forward on how to produce their sports in the current environment.

When the NBA suspended the Milwaukee Bucks were the top seed in the Eastern conference holding a 6.5 game lead on the second seeded Toronto Raptors. Bucks recently returned home from their most difficult month of scheduling that came following the All Star Break. Toronto has been the surprise of the Eastern conference sitting at the second seed despite the loss of Kawhi Leonard.

Out in the western conference the LA Lakers hold the top seed with a 5.5 lead on the second seeded LA Clippers. Lakers had lost their first two meetings with the Clippers and recently beat their cross-town rivals in a very high profile game to gain confidence moving forward. Clippers have sat out their stars for rest and injuries but are only ½ game up on the third seeded Denver Nuggets. Denver has had issues on the defensive end of the court and that will have to be buttoned up if they are to earn home court advantage in a possible Western conference semifinal playoff meeting.
