The champagne will be on ice as the Toronto Raptors looks for their second chance at the closeout as they travel to meet the Golden St Warriors at 9PM Eastern Time on ABC TV. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Golden St Warriors favored by -2 ½ points with the over under line set at 211 ½ points.

Golden St was able to force the Game 6 as they get within 3-2 of Toronto with the 106-105 road victory. Toronto had a shot at a buzzer beater to win the NBA Finals as Kyle Lowry was stationed for the corner three but a great defensive play by Draymond Green sends the series back to Oakland. Green was able to get a hand on the three point shot attempt which was missed badly.

Kevin Durant returned to the Warriors lineup after a month absence due to a lower leg injury. Durant was forced to exit to the game with a torn Achilles tendon and will be out the remainder of the series. Warriors in their victory were able to shoot 46.3% and made 20 of 42 from the three point line. Turnovers were still an issue with the team committing 15. Stephen Curry played 41 minutes and had 31 points with seven assists as he shot 10 of 23 from the field. Klay Thompson in over 42 minutes contributed with 26 points and six boards hitting on 9 of 21 with 7 of 13 three pointers. A late 9-2 run to end the game was the difference.

Toronto was cold from the three point line in the loss hitting on only 8 of 32 missing three quarters of their attempts. Game was close as the Raptors were able to get to the free throw line and pulled down six more boards than the Warriors. Kawhi Leonard had 26 points and 12 rebounds as he converts on 9 of 24 shots. Lowry made 8 of his 16 shots for 18 but only 1 of 6 from three. Toronto continues to get production off the bench from Serge Ibaka who had 15 points and six rebounds with 5 of 8 shooting.

With the series tied at 1-1 the NBA Finals moved to Golden St where the Raptors win both Game 3 and 4 by double digits. Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney both missed Game 3 with injuries as Toronto wins 123-109. Thompson and Looney return to the Warriors lineup for Game 4 and the Raptors win 105-92. Toronto down by four at the half took control of the game with a strong third quarter as they outscored the Warriors 37-21.

Toronto win Game 4 despite shooting only 41.9% with 10 of 32 from three. They did make their free throws connecting on 23 of 24. Leading Toronto was Kawhi Leonard with 36 points and 12 rebounds as he converts on 11 of 22 shots. The Raptors starting guard duo of Kyle Lowry and Danny Green combine for 4 of 20 shooting. But Toronto got a huge effort off their bench as veteran Serge Ibaka shot 9 of 12 from the field scoring 20 points. In his time with Oklahoma City, Ibaka was effective as well when facing Golden St.

What has hampered Golden St in the past has been turnovers. Game 4 was bad for the Warriors ball handling as the team committed 19 turnovers. Toronto defensively does force turnovers. Warriors could not find their touch from the three point line making only 8 of 27. Free throw shooting was poor as well as Golden St converted only 14 of 21. Stephen Curry after a strong Game 3 struggled from three connecting on only 2 of 9.

The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Golden St Warriors favored by -4 ½ points with the over under line set at 215 points.

Bench player Kevon Looney has been declared out for the season with a collarbone injury. Klay Thompson suffered a hamstring injury in Game 2 and couldn’t play in Game 3. Thompson’s presence off the court was noticeable in Game 3 as the Raptors win 123-109 to take the 2-1 series lead. Raptors spaced the floor effectively and were able to execute quick effective passing to put their shooters in great looks at the basket. As a result, the Raptors shot 52.4% and made 44.7% of their three point shots. Golden St was unable to get into the passing lanes and were chasing shooters around the perimeter. Klay Thompson is one of the Warriors best defenders and does a great job of defending the Raptors best player on the court in Kawhi Leonard.

Leonard led the team in the win with 30 points and seven rebounds as he connected on 9 of 17 shots. The supporting cast came through for the Raptors as Kyle Lowry contributed with 23 points and nine assists as he converted on 8 of 16 shots. The Toronto bench had only 17 points but the starting five went deep into the game for Toronto. Marc Gasol after a poor Game 2 had 17 points in Game 3 and pulled down seven rebounds. Warriors shot poorly in the loss hitting only 39.6% and 12 of 36 from three. Stephen Curry led Golden St with 47 points and eight rebounds hitting on 14 of 31 from the floor. DeMarcus Cousins did not give the Warriors much with only nine points and a rebound on 1 of 7 shooting.
