Both teams enter Monday Night Football with 1-1 records. The Bears will be on back to back road games in this spot. They came up big last week as Chicago was on the big stage for Sunday Night Football and the team earned a 28-20 win at San Francisco. They were able to win straight up as a +7 point underdog in the Bay Area despite being outgained by 143 yards. The team entered the fourth quarter down 20-7 and scored 21 unanswered points against the 49ers defense. Jay Cutler had a nice performance in the victory by passing for four touchdowns without a picked off pass. They benefitted by taking away four turnovers from San Francisco as the Bears defense recovered a fumble and intercepted three Colin Kaepernick passes. It was a bounce back for Chicago after they lose in week one 23-20 in overtime on their home field to the Buffalo Bills. The Jets opened the season by dominating the Oakland Raiders in every aspect expect the scoreboard as they win just 19-14 as a -6 ½ point favorite. The Jets outgained the Raiders by 244 yards as the New York defense held the Silver and Black offense to a mere 158 yards. Last week it was a disappointing loss for the Jets as they blew an early 21-3 lead to the Green Bay Packers in a 31-14 defeat as a +7 point underdog. After a strong first half showing the Jets were held to just three second half points.
