New York enters this game with an 0-1 record. They will be without starting quarterback Sam Darnold as he recovers from a case of Mono and can miss several weeks. In his place will be former Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian who has a lifetime 13-11 record as a starter and completes 59% of his passes. Jets look to rebound after a 17-16 home defeat to the Buffalo Bills in their opener. New York stormed to the 16-0 lead in the third quarter but the Bills closed the game scoring the final 17 points. Jets offense was held to only 223 yards with 68 rushing on 21 carries. Sam Darnold played the whole game and went only 28 of 41 for 175 yards and a touchdown. LeVeon Bell in his Jets debut had 17 carries for 60 yards. New York did force four Buffalo turnovers and finished the game with a +3 turnover margin.

Cleveland has concerns about the health of quarterback Baker Mayfield. He had to have his hand wrapped following Sunday’s game with a left hand contusion. That hand was not wrapped during practice this week as the quarterback was sacked five times in their 43-13 home defeat to Tennessee in their opener. Mayfield was holding the football too long as his receivers were having trouble getting open downfield. Browns finished with three turnovers in the game as Mayfield threw three interceptions. Team gained 346 yards rushing for 102 yards on 20 carries. Defensively the Browns allowed Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota to complete 14 of 24 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns. Odell Beckham in his Cleveland regular season debut caught seven passes for 71 yards. On the ground Nick Chubb had 17 rushes for 75 yards.
