Green Bay opened play in the CIT with an eight point road win at East Tennessee St. Team then went on to win their past three all at home. Phoenix come off the 87-86 home overtime victory to Texas Southern. Marshall has won three straight and nine of their past ten games. Thundering Herd in the CIT semis defeated Hampton at home 80-78. Marshall has not been sharp this season on defense allowing 46% shooting to their opponents. Green Bay has shot the ball extremely well in the CIT hitting over 50% from the field. Thundering Herd has played all their games in this tournament on their home court.
