Michigan St is favored by -1 point with the over under set at 130 ½ points. Michigan St has won both meetings with the Wolverines this season. They last met last Saturday with the Spartans posting the 75-63 home victory by crushing the Wolverines on the glass by a 42-18 margin. Michigan St got past Ohio St and Wisconsin in the quarter and semifinal games by wide margins in each. Michigan got a favorable draw facing Iowa and Minnesota as they Wolverines cruised to victory. Wolverines were battling against the two worst defenses in the Big Ten. They got past Minnesota in the semifinal round on Saturday 76-49.
