Texas A&M got healthy late in the season and looked outstanding in their 86-65 second round win to North Carolina. Aggies shot 51% and grabbed 11 more rebounds than the Tar Heels.

At 9:37PM Eastern Time on CBS TV from Atlanta the Kentucky Wildcats battle Kansas St Wildcats. Kentucky is favored by -5 ½ points with the total of 138 ½ points. Kentucky is playing their best basketball of the season as the team has won five straight and nine of ten games. After beating Davidson 78-73 in the first round they routed Buffalo in the second round by 20 points. Kansas St has defended very well thus far in the tournament with a ten point win to Creighton and by seven to UMBC.

The late night game goes off at 10:07PM Eastern Time on TBS TV from LA as the Gonzaga Bulldogs battle Florida St Seminoles. Gonzaga is favored by -5 ½ points with the total of 154 points. Gonzaga after getting past UNC Greensboro by four defeated Ohio St in the second round 90-84. A strong showing for the Bulldogs behind a 53.4% shooting game and grabbing 13 more rebounds than the Buckeyes. Florida St rallied with a late come back in the second round behind their 75-70 win to Xavier. Seminoles got help from the Musketeers in the win as they made only 19 of 30 free throws and committed 18 turnovers.
