This is a matchup between two stout defensive teams. Red Raiders battled two very good offensive mid-major teams in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. They disposed of both Buffalo and Northern Kentucky by double digits beating the Norse by 15 points and Bulls by 20 points. Red Raiders are shooting 52% in the NCAA Tournament while still displaying strong defensive form. Michigan have two blowout wins in the tournament as well beating Montana by 19 points then a 15 point win to Florida. Wolverines have been strong rebounders in this tournament winning the boards by 12 rebounds to Montana and by 11 to the Gators.
