TCU has played all three games in the NIT at home winning by double digit margins in each game. In their past two games the Horned Frogs got past Nebraska by 16 and Creighton by 13. Texas has three wins at home in the NIT and they did survive a scare in their second game beating Xavier by two in overtime. Following that was a good defensive effort at home disposing of Colorado by 13 with a good defensive performance limiting the Buffaloes with 18 of 55 from the field.
