The Detroit Lions enter play desperate for a win with a mark of 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions have not been able to get their starting wide receivers into the end zone this year as Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate have combined for just one touchdown. The Lions have two road losses this year as they lose at San Diego 33-28 and in week two lose at Minnesota by the score of 26-16. Last week the Lions offense had trouble scoring on a very good Denver Broncos defense in a 24-12 defeat. Detroit has not been able to generate much on the ground. They are the 32nd and worst rushing team in the NFL as they average just 45 yards per game on the ground. In the passing game quarterback Matthew Stafford has completed 64% of his passes with five touchdowns and five picks.

Seattle was 0-2 as they hosted the Chicago Bears last week. The Seahawks moved to 1-2 as they shut out the Bears by the score of 26-0. The Seahawks stuffed the Chicago offense for just 146 offensive yards for the game. Marshawn Lynch had just five carries in the game as he had a hamstring problem in the win. Lynch will not play on Monday night. Rookie Thomas Rawls impressed the Seahawks coaching staff during the preseason. He got his chances last Sunday as he got 16 carries and ran for 105 yards. Fred Jackson who was signed after being cut by Buffalo has just two carries for 13 yards on the season.
