The upstart New Orleans Pelicans will battle at 8PM Eastern Time the home standing Memphis Grizzlies. New Orleans has a bright future with All Star Anthony Davis producing some quality numbers. The Pelicans hopes that the bench can contribute enough this season.

The Sacramento Kings are traveling to battle the Denver Nuggets with a tip time of 9PM Eastern Time. Denver opened up with a win to start the year as they got past Detroit 89-79 at home behind a solid defensive effort. The Nuggets could be the dark horse out west as the club is full of depth behind their starting five that can produce points. They hope to avoid the injury problems of 2013.

The late night game out west features the LA Clippers hosting the Utah Jazz at 10:30PM Eastern Time. The Clippers got a three point win at home to Oklahoma City to open the season. The team survived a poor shooting night but their sites are set for a deep run in the playoffs.
