All American League eyes will be on Boston throughout the weekend when the Yankees and Red Sox rekindle their love for one another in a three game set at Fenway Park. The Red Sox hold a 5-4 season series advantage over their division rivals after splitting the four games they last played in Yankees Stadium back in early July. Surprisingly, Alex Rodriguez and the rest of the “Bronx Bombers” owned the BoSox in their championship season winning 10 of their 15 overall match-ups including four of the nine meetings that took place in Beantown.

The Red Sox come into this series with the Yankees off a series sweep at Seattle for the first time since 1993, while the Yankees come in red hot winners of six in a row having just swept the Minnesota Twins right out of the stadium. Boston currently sits a half a game off the pace set by the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the AL East with the Yankees trailing by just 3.5-games.

Boston’s thrived playing in front of the “Green Monster” winning 36 of its 47 overall games reeling in close to $1900 for its betting backers, while the Yankees sport a .500 record as a visitor losing upward of $300 on the year. The Red Sox have won eight of their L/10 overall home games, while NY’s managed victories in just four if its L/9 road contests.
