The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Tennessee Titans favored by -4 with the over under line of 37 ½ points.

In their first meeting it was Titans with the 9-6 road victory at Jacksonville covering as a ten point underdog in late September. Neither team moved the ball much in this defensive struggle. Tennessee had 238 yards and the Jaguars gained 232 yards. Marcus Mariota hit only 12 of 18 passes for 100 yards. Titans did have success running the football for 150 yards while the Jaguars ran for 87 yards on 19 carries.

It has been a disappointing season for the Jaguars. After making it as far as the AFC Championship game the Jaguars in 2018 sit with a 4-8 record and has very little shot of making the playoffs. The Jaguars had lost seven straight and decided to bench quarterback Blake Bortles for the rest of the season after their loss at Buffalo ran the Jags record to 3-8. Cody Kessler will quarterback Jacksonville the rest of the season. Last week the team broke their long losing streak posting the 6-0 home win to the Indianapolis Colts. It was Kessler’s first win as a starting quarterback in the league. He hit 18 of 24 passes for 150 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions.

Tennessee still in the playoff chase in the AFC conference with a 6-6 record. They are 4-1 at home and 2-5 on the road. Team had lost two straight and five of six as they hosted the New York Jets last week. Titans fell behind 16-0 late in the second quarter and rallied for the 26-22 home win last week but couldn’t cover as a ten point favorite. Titans have had good recent history against the Jaguars this year as the team has won three straight and five of their past six meetings with Jacksonville.
