The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business have the defending champion Giancarlo Stanton the +140 betting odds favorite. Stanton in 2016 defeated Robinson Cano 24-7 in the quarterfinals and Mark Trumbo 17-14. In the semifinals Stanton defeated Todd Frazier 20-13 in the finals. Stanton compiled a total of 61 homers in his three rounds which were held in San Diego a season ago. Giancarlo Stanton is the only participant from 2016 competing in 2017. Cano is in a tough spot returning home from San Francisco flying cross country with no days of rest for this event.

Second in the wagering is Aaron Judge from the New York Yankees at +160 odds. Judge has been one of the major storylines in Major League Baseball in 2017. He leads the league in home runs this season with 30.

LA Dodgers rookie Cody Bellinger will return +700 odds. Bellinger made the big club in on April 25th and has 25 home runs. He has hit only one homer in his past 13 games.

Miguel Sano has odds of +800 odds. The Minnesota Twin third baseman is 15th in MLB in home runs this season with 21. He has hit three homers over his past ten games.

Longshots included Mike Moustakas at +1200 odds, Charlie Blackmon +1500 odds, Gary Sanchez +1500 odds and Justin Bour +1800 odds. Blackmon of the Rockies has two homers in his past three games in victories at home to the Chicago White Sox. He is 17th in homers with 20. Also with 20 homers is Justin Bour of the Miami Marlins. Bour is in a tough spot as he returns to Miami after a ten game road trip at Milwaukee, St Louis with the last stop way out west in San Francisco. The KC third baseman Moustakas has 25 home runs on the season good for fifth in the league. Gary Sanchez of the New York Yankees has only 13 homers on the year and has not hit a home run in 12 games.
