The MLB playoff doubleheader gets underway at 4PM Eastern Time as it will be Game 2 of the best of 7 ALCS series between the Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles. Things get started from Baltimore at 4PM Eastern Time and TBS TV has the coast to coast broadcast. The scheduled Game 2 starters will be Royals right hander Yordano Ventura as he will oppose Orioles lefty Wei Yin Chen. Ventura pitched in the opener of the ALDS against the Angels back on October 3rd. He threw a good seven innings by allowing just one earned run and five hits. Chen led the Orioles in wins in 2014 with a total of 16. He will try and shake off the effects of a poor outing in the ALDS series on October 3rd. The Tigers knocked Chen out of the game after getting two outs in the fourth inning as the Orioles starter gave up five runs and seven hits.

It will be Game 1 of the best of seven NLCS between the San Francisco Giants and St Louis Cardinals. First pitch from St Louis is slated for 8PM Eastern Time on FOX TV. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side St Louis Cardinals the -135 wagering favorite with the return on the road underdog San Francisco Giants at +125 odds. The run total is set at 6 ½ runs. The Game 1 pitching matchup will feature two aces on the hill as Madison Bumgarner takes the hill for the Giants to oppose Cardinals veteran Adam Wainwright. Bumgarner has given up two earned runs and struck out 16 in two postseason starts working a total of 16 innings. Wainwright in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Dodgers on Friday October 3rd was knocked out for six earned runs as he left the game after getting just one out in the fifth inning.
