The action on Friday gets underway at 1PM Eastern Time as its Game 2 of the best of five NLDS series as the Pittsburgh Pirates will be the road team facing the St Louis Cardinals. First pitch from St Louis is scheduled for 1PM Eastern Time on MLB Network. Lance Lynn a right hander will take the mound for St Louis while the Pirates have not announced a starter at press time.

It will be game one of the ALDS series involving the AL Wildcard winner the Tampa Bay Rays as they travel to face AL East division champion the Boston Red Sox. The Rays and Red Sox get started from Fenway Park in Boston at 3PM Eastern Time on TBS TV. Should be a very good pitching matchup in game one as Matt Moore is scheduled to go for the Rays as he will oppose Red Sox left hander Jon Lester.

It will be a game two of the NLDS series as the NL West champion LA Dodgers will take the field to battle the Atlanta Braves. The Braves and Dodgers begin from Turner Field in Atlanta at 6PM Eastern Time with TBS TV providing the coast to coast coverage. The Dodgers send right hander Zach Greinke on the mound to face Braves lefty Mike Minor.

The long wait is finally over in the ALDS series between the AL Central Champion Detroit Tigers as they hit the west coast to face AL West division champion the Oakland Athletics. The Tigers and Athletics get underway from Oakland at 9:37PM Eastern Time on TBS TV. Both teams enter play with four days rest after playing their final regular season game on Sunday. On the mound for the Tigers is likely AL Cy Young award winner Max Scherzer as he faces veteran right hander Bartolo Colon.
