The action gets underway 1PM Eastern Time on TBS TV with Game 2 as the Texas Rangers will be home to the Toronto Blue Jays. The Rangers will start right hander Yu Darvish as he opposes Blue Jays lefty J.A. Happ. Darvish battled injuries in 2015 and early 2016. On the year he sits at 7-5 in 17 starts with an ERA of 3.41 and WHIP of 1.12. Happ has been in the conversation for the AL Cy Young. He finished up the regular season with a mark of 20-4 in 32 starts with ERA of 3.18.

At 4:30PM Eastern Time on TBS TV it will be Game 2 of the ALDS as the Cleveland Indians host the Boston Red Sox. Starting for the Indians will be right hander Corey Kluber as he opposes Red Sox lefty David Price. The Indians are 9-1 in Kluber’s past ten starts. Price got a lot of run support as the left hander is 17-9 in 35 starts with an ERA around 4.

The NLDS begins with Game 1 at 5:30PM Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1 as the Washington Nationals host the LA Dodgers. The Nationals will start right hander Max Scherzer as he opposes Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team LA Dodgers the -146 odds favorite with the Nationals returning +136 odds. The total came in at six runs. Kershaw has had problems protecting leads in his post season starts. Fortunately much of that damage came against the St Louis Cardinals who failed to make the playoffs. Scherzer struggled in his last start allowing five earned runs and nine hits in a 10-7 home victory to Miami.

It’s the opening game of the NLDS at 9PM Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1 as the Chicago Cubs are home to the San Francisco Giants. The Cubs wills start left hander Jon Lester as he opposes Giants righty Johnny Cueto. Lester had an outstanding season with a record of 19-5 in 32 starts with an ERA of 2.44. Cueto has been brilliant winning four straight and allowing six earned runs over is past four starts working a total of 28 1/3rd innings. Question is can the Giants score enough runs in this series.
