In prime time at 7PM Eastern Time it will be regional action over MLB Network. Some will get the beginning of an AL Central series as the Kansas City Royals hit the road to face the Cleveland Indians. The pitching matchup will feature left hander Danny Duffy taking the hill for the Royals as he will oppose Indians right hander Danny Salazar. Duffy has pitched well down the stretch by allowing one earned run or less in four straight starts. Problem is run support as KC has pushed across two runs in each of those four games.

Others will get the start of an NL series as the Pittsburgh Pirates will visit the Atlanta Braves. On the mound for the Braves will be Aaron Harang as he will oppose Pirates lefthander Francisco Liriano. Harang is coming off two quality starts against Washington home and away allowing a total of two earned runs in fourteen innings.

Late night action at 10PM Eastern Time over MLB Network will also be regional action. Most will receive Game 1 of a NL West series as the San Francisco Giants will travel to face the LA Dodgers. Right hander Jake Peavy is the scheduled starter for Monday as he opposes Dodgers right hander Carlos Frias. The question for LA is can Frias bounce back from a nightmare outing at Colorado where he allowed eight earned runs and ten hits in 2/3rds of an inning.

Others will get an NL West matchup as the Colorado Rockies pay a visit to the San Diego Padres. The Rockies will throw lefty Tyler Matzek as he opposes Padres left hander Eric Stults. Matzek has allowed two earned runs or less in his past five starts.
