A great pitching matchup is scheduled as Tim Hudson a right hander will take the mound to face flame throwing phenom Stephen Strasburg for the Nationals. Hudson in two starts this season has a win and no decision. He posts an ERA this season of 3.27 and coming off a win on Sunday by giving up one earned run in 6 2/3rd innings to the Cubs. Strasburg is 1-1 in this young season. The young right hander got lit up for 6 earned runs in 5 1/3rd innings on Sunday at the Cincinnati Reds.

From the National League the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants will be at Wrigley Field to battle the Chicago Cubs. It will be the crafty lefty Madison Bumgarner on the hill for San Francisco as he will oppose the upstart Jeff Samardzija for Chicago. Bumgarner has been sharp this season by posting a record of 2-0 with an ERA of 1.32 in two starts. Samardzija was not able to follow up a scoreless start on opening day as he gives up four earned runs on Sunday in 5 2/3rds innings in defeat at the Braves.

Over in the American League it will be an AL East divisional contest as the Tampa Bay Rays will visit Fenway Park to face the Boston Red Sox. Tampa Bay will send lefty David Price to the hill to battle veteran left hander Jon Lester for the Red Sox. Price is looking to rebound after getting pounded on Sunday to the Indians as he gave up 8 earned runs and ten hits in a 10-0 loss to Cleveland at home. Lester is off to a 2-0 start in 2013 season with an ERA of just 1.50. Last time out on Sunday he surrenders no runs over seven innings at Toronto.
