LA has taken the first two games of this series after their 7-2 victory at the Mets on Friday. Zach Greinke missed his start on Friday as he had to go back to LA for the birth of his first child. LA went with Ian Thomas who went a good five innings to record the victory. The Dodgers are a home run hitting team and belted three on the night as former Met Justin Turner went yard along with Yasiel Puig and Jimmy Rollins. Anderson is 5-5 on the year with an ERA of 3.33. He could not make it past the third inning on Tuesday as he allowed three earned runs with five hits and two walks at Atlanta. Jacob de Grom leads the Mets in wins (10), ERA (2.18) and WHIP (0.90) on the year. He held Washington to two runs over six innings in victory on Tuesday.

ESPN TV Sunday Night Baseball goes off at 8PM Eastern Time as the Boston Red Sox will be home to the Detroit Tigers. Scheduled to start for the Red Sox will be left hander Eduardo Rodriguez as he opposes Tigers right hander Shane Greene. Boston took Game 1 of this series on Friday night by posting the 2-1 victory in eleven innings. Xander Bogaerts got the game winning hit for Boston as they snapped an eight game losing streak with the victory in the series opener. Rodriguez has a mark of 5-3 with an ERA of 4.64 season to date. He looks to bounce back from an awful outing on Monday as he gave up seven earned runs, six hits, three walks and two homers over 1 2/3rd innings in defeat at the Angels. It has been a bad season for Shane Greene as he enters play at 4-7 with an ERA of 6.52. He has given up five earned runs or greater in three straight starts and has not gotten past the fifth inning.
