The action gets started at 2:20PM Eastern Time on TBS as the Chicago Cubs will host the San Francisco Giants. The Giants will start veteran right hander Jake Peavy to face Cubs right hander Jake Arrieta. The Cubs are looking for the four game sweep in this series after an 8-6 win on Saturday against the Giants. ESPN Sunday Night Baseball will feature the Pittsburgh Pirates hosting the LA Dodgers with a first pitch at 8PM Eastern Time. The Dodgers start left hander Alex Wood to face Pirates right hander Charlie Morton. Pittsburgh has won the first two games of this series winning by one run in each game. Morton is coming off a good start against Cincinnati where he held the Reds without a run over seven innings. Wood in his debut with the Dodgers since being traded to LA took the loss by giving up four earned runs in 6 1/3rd innings at Philadelphia on August 4th.

On MLB Extra Innings channel at 3:30PM Eastern Time the LA Angels are at home to the Baltimore Orioles. The pitching matchup for the series finale will have Miguel Gonzalez a right hander for the Orioles to face Angels right hander Jered Weaver. The teams have split the first two games of this series. Gonzalez has dropped two straight decisions by giving up eight earned runs in a total of 8 2/3rd innings combined in those losses. Weaver pitches for the first time since June 20th after being sidelined with a hip injury.
