ESPN Sunday Night Baseball gets underway at 8PM Eastern Time as the St Louis Cardinals will be on the road to battle the Chicago Cubs. Right hander Mike Leake will start for St Louis to oppose Cubs righty John Lackey. The Cubs took Game 1 of this series on Friday as they crushed the Cardinals 13-2 as they pushed across seven runs in the first two innings. With the victory the Cubs will carry an 11 game win streak into Saturday’s game. The Cardinals have dropped the first two games of this series. Mike Leake has struggled by allowing a total of 22 runs over his past four starts working a total of 22 innings. Lackey coming off a nice start on August 9th at home to the Angels where he allowed one earned run and three hits in eight innings in a 5-1 home victory.
