ESPN Sunday Night Baseball has a first pitch at 8PM Eastern Time from Houston as the Astros face the Rangers. Houston sends veteran right hander Justin Verlander to the mound to face Rangers veteran Bartolo Colon. Houston has gotten good work from their pitching staff with a Team ERA of 2.37 which is second best in Major League Baseball. They opened up this series losing two of three at Minnesota. Lance McCullers have a poor outing on Wednesday leading to a 9-8 loss. McCullers gave up eight runs in 3 2/3rd innings. Houston rallied for an 8-8 tie with two runs in the ninth. They lose the game on a homer in the bottom of the ninth. Texas hosts the Astros in the basement of the AL West. Their pitching staff just got hammered by the Angels getting swept in all three games. Colon starts his second game of the season. In one start and two relief appearances Colon has an ERA of 1.64 in 11 innings of work.
