It is Game 1 of the NLDS on FOX Sports 1 at 5PM Eastern Time as the Milwaukee Brewers host the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies will start Antonio Senzatela while the Brewers will throw a bullpen game in the opener. Issue with the Milwaukee is they had to use Gio Gonzalez on Sunday and Jhoulys Chacin on Monday. It has been apparent all season long that the Brewers have lost confidence in Chase Anderson. He gives up a lot of baserunners and has been hurt by the home run ball. Rockies having to play an NL West tiebreaker and the wild card game had to throw German Marquez and Kyle Freeland. So Senzatela will open the NLDS for Colorado. The righthander re-entered the rotation after the All Star Break and has a record of 6-6 in thirteen starts with an ERA of 4.38. He has pitched well of late allowing one earned run in each of his past three starts working a total of 16 2/3rd innings. Senzatela has one lifetime start against Milwaukee and that was last year where he allowed no runs and two hits over five innings of a 2-1 road win.

On MLB Network at 8:37PM Eastern Time the LA Dodgers are home in Game 1 of the NLDS to battle the Atlanta Braves. LA Dodgers are favored by -170 odds with the return on the Atlanta Braves at +155 odds. Run total is lined at 7. Starting for the Dodgers will be lefty Hyun Jin Ryu to face Braves righthander Mike Foltynewicz. Ryu has pitched well for LA this season. He missed much of the season with a groin injury so his arm is fresh having worked a total of 82 1/3rd innings this season and posts an ERA of 1.97. Ryu has an ERA of 1.15 at home. Foltynewicz is 13-10 on the year with an ERA of 2.85 and WHIP of 1.08. He has pitched well on the road with an 8-6 mark with ERA of 2.48 in 87 innings of work. Dodgers by winning the NL West got two full days of rest to their bullpen which has performed better than the Braves this season.
