The teams get going from Fenway Park in Boston at 7PM Eastern Time on MLB Network. Right hander Matt Shoemaker is on the mound for the Halos as he battles Red Sox righty Rubby De La Rosa. The Red Sox left hander tries to bounce back from a bad start at home to Houston where he surrendered six runs over four innings.

Others will receive the opening of a four game weekend series among contender’s in the NL as the Atlanta Braves face the Cincinnati Reds. The Braves and Reds begin from Cincinnati at 7PM Eastern Time on MLB Network. Julio Teheran takes the hill for Atlanta as he opposes Cincinnati left hander David Holmberg. After bad starts against Seattle and the LA Dodgers the Braves All Star held Oakland to two earned runs over six innings in victory on August 16th.
