The Pirates hurler is coming off an outstanding start as he pitched seven shutout innings and allowed one hit in a win at home to Miami.

Others will receive a National League contest between contenders as the NL West division leading LA Dodgers will battle NL East division contender the Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers and Braves begin play from Atlanta at 7PM Eastern Time over MLB Network. The scheduled starters for Game 2 of this series will feature Hyun Jin Ryu a left hander for the LA Dodgers who opposes fellow left hander Mike Minor of the Braves. Ryu is 13-5 on the year with the Dodgers 5-0 in his past five starts. In those five games Ryu has allowed a total of seven earned runs working 33 innings. Ryu threw seven shutout innings on Thursday against the Angels in the freeway series and allowed just two hits in the win. Minor is 4-7 on the year for the Braves with an ERA of 5.42. He has allowed a total of 20 earned runs over his past four starts pitching a total of 20 2/3rd innings.
