Day baseball is scheduled at 1:10PM Eastern Time on MLB Network as the Detroit Tigers are home to the Kansas City Royals. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the home side Detroit Tigers -115 odds favorite with Kansas City Royals bringing back -105 odds. The run total came in at 9 runs. On the hill for the Royals will be righty Jakob Junis as he will face Tigers lefty Matthew Boyd. Kansas City is now 0-3 on the season as they dropped the first game of this series 6-1 to Detroit. The Royals pitching staff has been torched as they have allowed 24 runs in their three games. Boyd looks to rebound after a 2017 where he went 6-11 with an ERA of 5.27. Junis in his first year in MLB last year had 16 starts and went 9-3 with an ERA of 4.30. KC needs a good outing from Junis because they sit 30th and worst in MLB with a Team ERA of 8.31.

The late night game gets going at 10PM Eastern Time on ESPN TV as the LA Angles host the Cleveland Indians. LA is favored by -145 odds with the return on the Cleveland Indians at +135 odds. On the mound for the Indians will be righty Josh Tomlin as he opposes Angels righty Garrett Richards. Cleveland took Game 1 of this series on Monday with the 6-0 road win at the Angels. Indians got 5 1/3rd scoreless innings from Mike Clevinger with 3 2/3rd scoreless innings with two hits from their bullpen. Angles had six hits in the loss. Indians moved to 2-2 with the win and the Angels to 3-2. Cleveland has now beat LA in 15 straight games. Garrett Richards in his first start for the Angles at Oakland was given a 4-0 lead early. He failed to hold it by allowing four earned runs with seven hits and two homers in five innings of work. The game resulted in a 6-5 defeat to Oakland. Tomlin makes his first start of 2018. In 26 starts last year he went 10-9 with an ERA of 4.98.
