There will be day baseball televised regionally. Some will receive at 3:40PM Eastern Time the Seattle Mariners playing host to the Baltimore Orioles on MLB Network. The Orioles will send right hander Kevin Gausman to the hill to oppose Mariners right hander Hisashi Iwakuma. Gausman is coming off a bad outing on August 7th as he allowed six earned runs in 5 2/3rd innings at the LA Angels. He had a bad outing on July 7th at Minnesota where he gave up seven earned runs in 3 2/3rd innings. Iwakuma is coming off a home win against Texas on August 7th as he gave up three earned runs and six hits throwing seven innings.

In other areas the San Francisco Giants will conclude an interleague series with the Houston Astros. Things get started from San Francisco at 3:45PM Eastern Time over MLB Network. Scott Feldman takes the mound for the Astros to face Giants right hander Christopher Heston. It has been a bad road trip for the Houston Astros. Heading into Tuesday the club is 1-6 and having trouble scoring runs. Scott Feldman has pitched well the past three games but has three no decisions. He held Oakland to two earned runs in six innings on August 6th. Christopher Heston looks to bounce back from a bad outing on August 6th as he allowed five earned runs in four innings of work in a loss at the Cubs.

In prime time at 8:15PM Eastern Time the St Louis Cardinals will host the Pittsburgh Pirates on ESPN TV. On the mound for the Pirates will be righty hander Gerrit Cole as he opposes Cardinals righty Michael Wacha. Cole has pitched well this year with a 14-5 record and ERA of 2.39. He has held his past seven opponents to three runs or fewer. Wacha has allowed no earned runs in his past two starts against Cincinnati and
Colorado working seven innings in each game.
