The lone game over national television is the Freeway Series as the LA Dodgers will host the LA Angels. Entering play on Friday night the Royals enjoyed an eight game lead in the AL Central over Minnesota despite losing the opener of this series on Thursday night. Toronto moved to 52-51 with the win but trail the Yankees by seven games in the loss column atop the AL East.

At 7PM Eastern Time over MLB Extra Innings channel it will be the New York Mets at home facing the Washington Nationals. Right hander Jacob deGrom takes the hill for the Mets to oppose Nationals right hander Joe Ross. As this series opens up on Friday the Nationals held a four game lead in the loss column over the Mets in the NL East division. Washington is 5-5 over their past ten games entering Friday night while the Mets are 4-6 through their past ten games.
