It all begins at 4PM Eastern Time on FOX Sports 1 as the LA Dodgers will host the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pittsburgh will send right hander Gerrit Cole to the hill. This series could be the opportunity for the Pittsburgh Pirates to make a move in the wildcard race. As they opened up this series the team was two games over .500 and still in the hunt as the second wildcard berth is a wide open race. LA had their four game win streak snapped in a 6-2 home defeat to Philadelphia on Thursday. Gerrit Cole looks to bounce back from a loss at home to Cincinnati where he allowed four earned runs with three walks and three hits over 5 1/3rd innings in a 7-3 defeat.

On FOX Sports 1 at 7PM Eastern Time the Cleveland Indians will be home to face the LA Angels. Cleveland will start right hander Mike Clevinger to oppose Angels righty Matt Shoemaker. The Indians blew out the Angels in the second game of this series by the score of 13-3. In the opener it was Cleveland with the 14-4 victory. Clevinger has not gone far in his four starts this year going no further than 5 1/3rd innings in them.

The late night game beings at 9PM Eastern Time on MLB Network as the San Francisco Giants will host the Baltimore Orioles. Getting the start for Baltimore will be right hander Kevin Gausman as he opposes Giants lefty Madison Bumgarner. The Giants have not provided run support for their ace Madison Bumgarner. The left hander is winless in his past five decisions with San Francisco scoring 2 runs or fewer in four of the five games. Gausman has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of his past five games. He is 3-9 on the year in 20 starts with an ERA of 4.02.
