It all gets underway at 1PM Eastern Time as FOX presents regional coverage. Some areas will get an AL East showdown as the Baltimore Orioles will continue their weekend road series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Scheduled to start for Baltimore will be Kevin Gasuman as he will oppose Tigers lefty Drew Smyly. The Rays have fallen out of contention slipping to 67-73 heading into play on Thursday.

Others will get an interleague battle between contenders as the San Francisco Giants will be the road team facing the Detroit Tigers. The Giants will send left hander Madison Bumgarner to the mound to battle Tigers lefty David Price. The Tigers hurler bounced back with a good outing at Cleveland after getting roughed up at home to the Yankees by giving up 8 earned runs over two innings.

At 4PM Eastern Time over FOX Sports 1 the entire nation will be treated to a matchup between American League contenders as the Kansas City Royals will face the home side New York Yankees. Lefty Danny Duffy takes the hill for KC as he will oppose Yankee right hander Brandon McCarthy. Duffy has been sharp allowing one earned run in each of his past three starts.

At 7PM Eastern Time over MLB Network will be regional coverage. Most of the nation will receive an NL Central division showdown as the Milwaukee Brewers will play host to the St Louis Cardinals. Right hander Lance Lynn takes the hill for St Louis as he will oppose Brewers right hander Kyle Lohse. The Brewers have slumped and so has Kyle Lohse who has lost four of his past six starts. He gave up seven earned runs in 5 2/3rd innings at San Francisco last time out.

Others will get the AL contest between the LA Angels visiting the Minnesota Twins. Phil Hughes takes the mound for Minnesota as he opposes Angels right hander Matt Shoemaker. Hughes looks to play the spoiler role as he has allowed one earned run or less in five of his past six starts.
