The Warriors are in a double revenge mode tonight as the Memphis Grizzlies have won both games against Golden St this season. One win for Memphis came on their home court while on January 23rd they edged the Warriors 91-90 getting +2 1/2 points. Ironically each win by the Grizzlies have come by one point.

Memphis will be tough to beat tonight as the team has won four straight games and eight of nine. During that nine game span they own notable wins against Philadelphia and Dallas. The Grizzlies have played much better defense as they have held their past five opponents to less than 100 points and an average of just 88 points a game. On the offense side of the ball Memphis has shot an average of 46.6% from the field in those five contests. The Grizzlies will be a rested team tonight having last played on Saturday in a 100-83 home win against the Detroit Pistons laying -8 points. It was a total team effort as seven Grizzlies scored in double digits in the victory.

Golden St head coach Mark Jackson ought to feel good that he has improved this franchise as the team enters play at 15-20 on the year. They are taking small steps in the right direction. They return home from a long six game east coast trip where they went a respectable 3-3. Point guard Stephen Curry has been nagged with a foot injury that forced him to miss extended action. He is listed as probable tonight after scoring 12 points in a reserve role in the team’s 120-100 road win at Washington on Monday night. Curry had missed the prior two games heading into the match up with the Wizards. In the Warriors 1 point loss at Memphis back on February 8th Curry exploded for 36 points and 6 assists in over 40 minutes of play. Golden St will have to fight off fatigue as they enter play with one day of rest following their long road trip.
