The Oddsmaker pointspread in game three has the road club Miami Heat favored by -2 ½ points with the total lined at 180 ½ points. A money line wager on the Miami Heat will return -140 odds. Those who believe the home underdog Indiana Pacers can win game three outright their return for a money line wager is +120 odds.

There is a lot of concern on the Miami Heat side following their game two performance that resulted in a 78-75 home loss to the Pacers as a -6 ½ point home favorite. The Heat will be without big man Chris Bosh in game three with an abdominal strain that could sideline him for between two to three weeks. The Heat could score just 75 points on their home court on Tuesday behind a dismal 34.6% shooting. Dwayne Wade and Lebron James combined for 52 of the Heat’s 75 points. No other Heat player could score more than five points in game two. That was an issue in game one as the Heat’s big three accounted for most of the Miami’s 95 points. With Bosh out the Heat will be challenged in the rebounding department as the Pacers grabbed 50 boards to Miami’s 40 on Tuesday.

Indiana has been fortunate to be even in this series at 1-1 as leading scorer Danny Granger has been ineffective with just a 9 point per game average in this series. Entering the series Pacers center Roy Hibbert was an issue for the Heat’s defense and now without Bosh it becomes a match up that Indiana could exploit in game three and four at home. Hibbert has averaged 12 ½ points and 11 rebounds in the two playoff games against the Heat.

The under is trending in the head to head matchup between the Heat and the Pacers as they have gone under four times in their past five meetings and in four times in their past five games played at Indiana.
