The teams met last season in Seattle with the Seahawks posting the 21-7 home victory. Seahawks defense held the Vikings to 276 yards in the win. Seattle moved to 9-2 on the season after their 17-9 road win at Philadelphia Eagles. Prior to that victory were wins in overtime at San Francisco and home to Tampa Bay. Seahawks had success on the ground in the win with 174 yards with Rashaad Penny running for 129 yards and a touchdown. Seattle had one of the better home fields in the NFL but the past two seasons the team has had struggles. This season the Seahawks are 3-2 with losses to the Saints and Ravens. They needed overtime to beat Tampa Bay and got lucky as the Rams missed a makeable field goal in the closing seconds which gave the Seahawks the win. The Seattle defense does not play as well at home giving up 385 yards with 285 passing.

Minnesota enters play at 8-3. They are only 3-3 on the road this season. Their road defeats came at Green Bay, Chicago and Kansas City. Minnesota will be coming off their bye week. Prior to the bye the team spotted the Denver Broncos a 20-0 halftime lead and rallied in the second half for the win. Vikings cut the Broncos lead to 23-7 after three quarters then outscored the Broncos 20-0 in the final quarter. Kirk Cousins led the second half comeback as he finished the game hitting on 29 of 35 for 319 yards and three touchdowns. Dalvin Cook had only 11 carries and finished with 26 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. Vikings impact wide receiver Adam Thielen is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the past four games.
