Two AL Contenders meet at 1PM Eastern Time on MLB Extra Innings channel as the Boston Red Sox host the Tampa Bay Rays. The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the road team Tampa Bay Rays favored by -120 odds with the return on the underdog Boston Red Sox at +110 odds. Run total is lined at 9 runs. Starting for Tampa Bay will be lefty Blake Snell as he opposes Red Sox lefty Eduardo Rodriguez. Tampa Bay has won the first two games of this series with the 9-2 victory on Saturday. Red Sox fall to one game over .500 at 33-32 as Tampa Bay improves to 40-23. Rays have a four game win streak. Blake Snell looks to rebound after a poor outing allowing six earned runs over 4 1/3rd innings in a loss at Detroit. He did pitch well against Boston last season. Eduardo Rodriguez has put together a pair of good outings on the road at KC and Houston allowing a total of three earned runs over 11 2/3rd innings.

ESPN Sunday Night Baseball begins at 7PM Eastern Time as the Chicago Cubs are home to the St Louis Cardinals. Chicago is favored by -155 odds with the return on the underdog St Louis Cardinals at +140 odds. On the hill for Chicago is Kyle Hendricks as he opposes Cardinals righty Adam Wainwright. Cubs entered their home game with St Louis on Saturday with a 22-11 record at home. Cardinals were just 11-17 on the road and had the worst record in baseball for the month of May. Wainwright in his last start held the Cubs to no runs and two hits over eight innings. His control issues continued as the veteran issued seven walks in the game. In his start at Wrigley this season Wainwright surrendered six runs over five innings in defeat. Kyle Hendricks sits with a 6-4 record and ERA of 3.16 on the season. He has done a good job of limiting baserunners on the year. Cubs have won six of seven starts by Hendricks.
