Day Baseball is on the schedule and it begins at 2PM Eastern Time on MLB Network as the Texas Rangers are home to the Cleveland Indians. Starting for Cleveland will be righthander Shane Bieber as he opposes Rangers lefty Mike Minor. The Indians are off to a good start to this road trip as the team has won four of five after winning 10-3 on Tuesday. With the win the Indians moved to 38-34 and are in the hunt for the AL Wildcard. Rangers a good home team at 25-13 fell to 39-34 and have wildcard hopes. Bieber enters play with a 6-2 record in fourteen starts with ERA of 3.92 and low WHIP of 1.09. Two starts back the righthander surrendered five runs 1 2/3rd innings in a home loss to the Yankees. Bieber bounced back in his last start allowing two runs striking out 12 in 7 2/3rd innings in a 4-2 road win at Detroit. Mike Minor has been the best starter in the Rangers rotation. The lefty is 6-4 in fifteen starts with ERA of 2.63 and WHIP of 1.18. Rangers are 3-0 in his past three starts giving up five runs in those contests total in 20 innings pitched.

The late night game gets underway 10PM Eastern Time on MLB Extra Innings Channel as the LA Dodgers host the San Francisco Giants. On the hill for San Francisco will be veteran Madison Bumgarner to oppose Dodgers righty Walker Buehler. Dodgers evened this series at 1-1 with their 9-0 win on Tuesday. LA moved to 49-25 overall and 29-9 at home. Giants sit in last in the NL West at 31-40. Rumors are flying that Madison Bumgarner is on the trading block. The lefty is 3-6 in fifteen starts with ERA of 3.87 and WHIP of 1.17. He has given up three earned runs or fewer in eight of nine starts pitching at least six innings in all those starts. Walker Buehler is having a great start to the season with a 7-1 record with ERA of 3.06 and WHIP of 0.92. Buehler has given up one earned run or fewer in six of his past seven starts.
