There will be Day Baseball and it begins at 2:20PM Eastern Time on MLB Network as the Chicago Cubs host the New York Mets. With the win the Cubs have won two of three on this home stand. Wheeler on the season is 5-5 in fifteen starts with ERA of 4.94 and WHIP of 1.33. He has struggled in his past two starts allowing fourteen runs nine earned working 10 2/3rd innings in blowout losses at the Braves and Yankees. Zack Wheeler has allowed two home runs in four of his past six starts. The righthander has given up ten homers in his past 39 innings of work. New York bullpen has struggled with an ERA of 5.37. Jose Quintana is 4-6 in fourteen starts with ERA of 3.87 and WHIP of 1.34. He has not gotten much run support as Chicago is 1-7 in his past eight starts. He has pitched well in his career against the Mets.

On FOX at 7:15PM Eastern Time the New York Yankees are home to the Houston Astros. Wade Miley will start for Houston as he will oppose Yankees righty Masahiro Tanaka. Yankees have won five straight after their 10-6 win in the opener of this series. Yankees have scored eight runs or greater in four of their past six games. They will welcome Aaron Judge back into the lineup after an oblique injury. With their loss on Thursday the Astros have dropped five straight and are 0-4 on this road trip. Miley has pitched well with a 6-4 record in fifteen starts with ERA of 3.30 and WHIP of 1.19. He has given up just three earned runs or fewer in nine of ten starts. Tanaka is 5-5 in fifteen starts with ERA of 3.23 and WHIP of 1.10. He comes off a good home outing against Tampa Bay holding the Rays to no runs and two hits with ten strikeouts in nine innings.
