The current odds available for wagering at Oddsmaker, where the bonuses are the best in the business has the St Louis Cardinals the +200 odds favorite. St Louis were the winners of the NL Central last season at 91-71. They were strong against the division with a mark of 46-30. Cardinals have a very good starting five, but the question is can they the stay healthy? They have been hit with injuries the past few seasons. At the top of the rotation is Jack Flaherty and Miles Mikolas. Dakota Hudson, Adam Wainwright and Carlos Martinez fill out the staff.

Second in the wagering are the Chicago Cubs at +225 odds. Cub were a disappointing 84-78 finishing third and out of the playoffs. They team did not retain Joe Madden. David Ross takes over in his first role as a manager at the MLB level. It is a veteran starting staff with Yu Darvish, Kyle Hendricks, Jose Quintana and Jon Lester.

Next the Cincinnati Reds at +300 odds. It was a down season for the Reds finishing at 75-87 a season ago and fourth place in the division. David Bell is in his second season as manager. They do have one of the rising stars in their rotation in Luis Castillo. Sonny Gray bounced back from his poor Yankees experience with a good first year with the Reds. Trevor Bauer was acquired from the Indians. Wake Miley and Anthony DeSclafani round out the rotation.

The longshots in the field are the Milwaukee Brewers at +350 odds and Pittsburgh Pirates +7500 odds. Brewers were second in the NL Central in 2019 with a mark of 89-73. Craig Council enters his sixth year with the club as manager. They were hit with major injuries to their starting staff. Brandon Woodruff is the staff ace in the rotation. There are question marks about the rest of the rotation that include Adrian Houser, Brett Anderson and Eric Lauer. The Pirates disappointed in the 2019 campaign at 69-93. They went 29-47 against the division. Derek Shelton begins his first season as the Pirates manager. He was the bench coach at Minnesota the past two seasons. Starting staff includes Joe Musgrove, Mitch Keiler, Trevor Williams and Chris Archer.
