Shane Bieber has a mark of 10-3 in 21 starts with an ERA of 3.44 and WHIP of 0.99. He faced Toronto on Wednesday allowing no runs and a hit over nine innings of a 4-0 road win.

On MLB Network at 8:15PM Eastern Time the St Louis Cardinals will be home to the Chicago Cubs. Getting the start for St Louis will be righthander Adam Wainwright to oppose Cubs righty Yu Darvish. The Cubs and Cardinals open this series tied in the NL Central division. Milwaukee Brewers sit only a game back of both teams. Cubs on this road trip have lost two of three at Milwaukee and San Francisco. Cardinals after a six game win streak dropped two of three at home to Houston. Yu Darvish checks in with a mark of 3-4 in 21 starts with an ERA of 4.54 and WHIP of 1.23. He faced San Francisco is his last start giving up four runs over six innings of a 5-4 road defeat. Adam Wainwright has a record of 7-7 in nineteen starts with an ERA of 4.63 and WHIP of 1.40. In his last start the righthander gave up four runs over five innings with four walks in a 14-8 road win at Pittsburgh.
